A few of our staunchist supporters are coming to stay over the weekend of Open Day and I thought it would be nice to invite them to our place for a BBQ/takeaway (depending on the weather) after the set-up on Friday August 7. If any of our other vols would like to come along after such a busy day, you are more than welcome. PM for full details. |

Great idea but we often don't stop till late the night before - I finished doing stuff my end at 2am and was at the school at 7am to start again (there's loads to do on the morning itself as well as we can't set up properly until then) so even if I manage to finish my stuff early I have to be up at very early as trains take forever early morning so I may take a raincheck on this one! |

We would be very chuffed to come to a BBQ, but understand if it may not be a good idea with people being tired and stuff.
Thanks |

Am sure we'll get it better timed as we go on but its difficult to say yes to just in case + we have to do a lot of setting up on the saturday anyway as certain things can't be done till then
Its a great idea but I'd much prefer to do something on the saturday night/sunday |

We would like to come if it happens...
Is the stuff that needs to be done the day before something that could be done any earlier?
What time can we get into the school from on the Friday? Or is it stuff to be done somewhere else? |

We only joined Four Paws in September so didnt come to the summer show last year . Not sure what to expect We can help out as much as possible leading up to the show and of course during the show but Im afraid my dogs wont be attending the show so I will need to get back to them in the evenings as soon as I can. My friend can call in duing the day to see them but I dont want to leave them on their own all night as well xx |

I know I'm going to be whacked on the Sat and I shall just want to collapse that night and on the Sun. No offence, but I couldn't host anything as I would want to then. Can I leave it open that Fri night will be open to anyone just as a hospitality to our far-flung friends and we can do something on a better scale on another dat?e. |

Saturday we need to start early but its a case of people coming when they can really
Just turn up at Llanishen High school anytime from about 7am on the Saturday ('doors' open at 11 to the public) and there's all sorts of 'jobs' to do. Friday depends on what's been done during the week - am sure someone will post in this forum
It would be great to see you + its also a day where peopel can have some fun as well and enter the dog show |
